GOST R 56335-2015 applies to geosynthetic materials used in the construction of highways and structures on them, and establishes a method for determining the strength when pushing a geosynthetic material at a constant speed with a metal cylindrical stamp. The standard can be applied when tested to solid geosynthetics, the static punching shear strength of which is in the range from 0.2 to 5.0 kN, used in road construction and performing the function of separating layers of mineral materials or waterproofing, as well as geosynthetics with a cell size of no more than 10 mm.
