GOST R 58950-2020 establishes a method for the experimental determination of the effective service life of up to 50 years, inclusive, of heat-insulating layers in the composition of building envelopes from materials obtained on the basis of organic polymers in all climatic zones of the Russian Federation.

The method specified in this standard applies to all prefabricated polymer materials and products (or applied to the surface by spraying) that are used as thermal insulation of enclosing structures from the temperature effects of the external environment.
